How you can speedup your slow computer and leave behind the days of sluggish performance
Your computer is running slow. But there's no need to panic as there are ways in which you can overcome this problem and resume the normal speed of your computer.

There is a wide and varying number of ways in which your computer can be performing at a slower rate than usual. To be able to speed it up you must find out what is the root cause for the slow speed.

This could be anything from malware issues to registry errors to trash and temp files on the system. In this article I will expand a bit more on trash and temp files and what role they play in slowing the computer down.

Temp files are created via many different programs. They are usually created to act as a backup encase there is a loss of data. Many programs will save temporary files of a file regularly in order to act as a backup encase your computer was to crash for example. If this was to happen you'd lose your file but that's where the temp file comes into play. Trash is simply the stuff that is deleted manually but not entirely from the system. To remove it permanently you have to delete it from the ‘recycle bin’ on your desktop. The trash and temp files clog up your computer and can also carry corrupted data which can lead to further problems such as spreading of viruses. This in turn can slow your computer down.

The best thing to do in this case is delete everything in your trash folder and delete temp files that you don't need anymore – that is files that you are completely finished with and don’t need any longer. You don’t need to retain the temp files for these original files. Once these files have been deleted and the trash can emptied your computer will start to return to its normal speed that you first noticed when you bought it.
